Started in 1935 as a way to raise charity money during the Great Depression, the Savannah Tour of Homes & Gardens has continued to this day. Now in its 80th year and grown in size and scope, the Savannah Tour of Homes & Gardens continues to support charities, both local and international, as well as community projects, and the promotion of historic Savannah as a place worth visiting, preserving, and cherishing.

During the Savannah Tour of Homes & Gardens, you’re given the opportunity to visit and explore some of Savannah’s finest private and historic residences. Admire settings and surroundings that have been treasured by generations of family members but seldom seen by visitors. The Savannah Tour of Homes & Gardens is not just walking tours, either.
