Savannah Greek Festival 2017Opa! The 67th annual Savannah Greek Festival is scheduled for October 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2017. If you’ve a taste for delicious Greek food, Hellenic dancing, live music, and more, you will not want to miss this poular and traditional Greek Festival!

The Savannah Greek Festival has been going strong for 67 years now, making it real Savannah tradition. The annual three-day festival brings the sights, sounds, and flavors of Greece to our Southern city with homemade Greek foods, music, and dancing.

The celebrations are rounded out with tours of St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, and a market place of unique and beautiful Greek gifts.

St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church has been serving congregations in Savannah for well over 100 years. Savannah Greek Festival is a celebration of that heritage and annually draws thousands of people. Visitors come to learn about the history and accomplishments of Greek Savannah as well as to enjoy the shopping, music, dancing, and Greek culture.

And lets not forget the food!

There’s nothing quite like delicious Greek food. Gyros, Baklava, Spanakopita, Dolmades, Pastitsio, Greek coffee. Fresh Greek food is served all day, every day during Savannah Greek Fest, 11am to 9pm. St. Paul’s Hellenic Center comes alive with the scent of all these delicious, tempting Greek treats and more.

Savannah Greek Fest also offers plenty to do while you enjoy your food. Live Greek music from “Orkistra Mikrasiatiki” will entertain the crowds every day of the festival. Three dance troupes will also be on hand. There’s Zoe, the adult dance troupe, Goya, the teenage troupe, and Ta Pethai, a children’s dance troupe. All three will entertain and delight you with their skills.
