Make Savannah the Destination for Your Wedding

Weddings are as varied as the men and women who have them. Some are quiet and unassuming, others flamboyant. Some are small, others large. Some are held at home, others are held abroad. There is, however, one common denominator. Weddings should suit the people getting married.

Have your wedding at our Savannah Vacation Rental.

Our Savannah Vacation Home at 109 West is ideal for Destination Weddings.

Destination Weddings are becoming more and more popular, and with good reason. They turn a special occasion into a Special Occasion. The happy couple starts their life together in a distant place, perhaps surrounded by their dearest friends and relatives. No one is distracted by obligations at home, because home is far away.

While some couples travel to distant locales to elope, others prefer to bring friends and family with them. This can prove challenging when trying to book rooms in a hotel; what could be an intimate affair can quickly turn into a logistical nightmare.

Not so at our Savannah Vacation Home at 109 West. This elegant, spacious, historic property sleeps up to 26 people. The wedding couple may retreat to the Penthouse, an intimate studio at the top of the house. Parents may have their own spaces in the Carriage House and the Garden Suites. Friends may convivially share the main house.

If there’s a Destination Wedding in your future, we hope you’ll consider hosting it at one of our Savannah Vacation Rentals.

4th of July in Savannah

4th of July, 2011, celebrations begin at 4pm along the Savannah Riverfront. There will be fireworks over the Savannah River, music, and a festive mood.

Our Savannah Vacation Rentals on Broughton Street are just a few blocks from the Savannah Riverfront. The Savannah Vacation Home at 109 West is a bit farther, but also within walking distance. Guests who would rather not walk may hop on the free CAT shuttle, which stops a block from the vacation rental at 109 West and takes passengers to various historic sites, River Street, and the Savannah Belles Ferry.

Enjoy a quiet drink after the fireworks at our Savannah Vacation Home on Broughton Street.

Get in the thick of the festivities by walking to and from River Street; it’s a great way to feel like a local. Then enjoy a drink on the patio of one of our vacation homes on Broughton Street. You can always sleep late on July 5th.

Spend the 4th of July in Savannah with a group of your friends, and then stay a few more days. Savannah is a great place to visit midweek.
